Hayzee Mix/Interview and other stuff!!
So it has been awfully quiet on the LD front for awhile, but we are on the move again with stuff .. lots of stuff actually.
The reason for the quietness? I was working very hard on a green screen feature project at work . Check the teaser/test we made as a 50Mb mp4 file here. It took a lot of effort and yes time, but I am really proud of it and the young team I built it with. Post-production starts in August.
On the label side of it, things have been going well. Especially with the new release "Stories" and the progress on that. Also Drop got a lotta love during the Antwerpen Event we did awhile ago!! It was cool to see and meet everyone out there. Check out the Drop tape filled with ill beats by Benelux finest too....uhm.. if you haven't already : )
On the Show/podcast tip: For issue 15 I met up with Hayzee about a month ago. Hayz is an upcoming producer from Amsterdam that has been working on his craft for five years now, with his recent free instrumental release "Next Level" and his work with the Dutch hiphop group "Zwart Licht" being a good example of his diverse output. The producer has been making quite a stir in Amsterdam. Check out his selector set , beats and interview here.

This was a cool surprise: the guys at Properlychilled have a reader based chart and it rated our "Weapons Of Hope" as number 1 single of the week for the last few weeks! whoa :)
